I oversaw the design direction of a team of designers for various customer touch-points. These included webpage Hero Banners, HTML5 Ads, and PDF templates for legal documents, forms, and brochures. One of my projects, carried out in close collaboration with NAB’s Brand team, involved building a new eDM UI kit to incorporate NAB’s 2022 brand refresh.
The NAB eDM UI Kit
The eDM UI Kit facilitates the voice of NAB's to more than eight and a half million customers. It was designed to ensure consistency, efficiency, and accessibility across various delivery teams from six different creative agencies. This project evolved with input from NAB's brand team and insights from delivery teams. It incorporated new digital standards, expanded layout configurations, and embraced NAB's shift to the new design tool, Figma. Moreover, I developed a range of templates to ensure consistent NAB communications and streamline the development workflow, supporting various creative agencies beyond our own. Developing these solutions ensured that the text remained as semantic HTML, rather than embedded within images. This approach facilitated the effective usage by assistive technologies.
NAB Banner Image Template
These templates were designed to enable creative agencies to produce page hero banners more effectively, in an effort to improve engagement, click-through rates, and workflow in delivery. They assist delivery teams by ensuring images are properly placed and rendered within their containers. The banners include optional components suitable for various products across NAB, ensuring that the intentions in design meet predefined executions in delivery.
